Earlier this week I had the opportunity to do a lifestyle shoot for a start up, Kitchensurfing.com. I totally believe in the vision and mission of this company, so it was a privilege to partner with them in this way!
The gist is you get to pay a professional chef to come into your home and cook a fabulous meal for you and your friends, while focusing on those present. It’s pretty cool for a lot of reasons, you can watch them cook and ask all kinds of questions, you don’t have to cook or clean up, and you get to have a restaurant quality meal while being comfy in your own home! Definitely pay them a visit if you’re into that kind of thing ;)
A New York based company, they launched in Seattle this summer and on-boarded a handful of new chefs for the region, which is where I came into play. I got to photograph different Seattle chefs preparing amazing dishes, and yes…taste tests were involved!
Also, when they got in touch with me about the job, they were still looking for a space to shoot, so I immediately suggested the Pantry at Delancey. I had only seen the space through instagram but was itching to get inside and see more. They did not disappoint!
Enjoy some of my photos of chefs from this fun collab and lots of photos of the Pantry :)
